About Kaitzy's Team Leadership Success

Sunrise Sting Soccer Club: Kaitzy currently plays for the Sunrise Sting Soccer Club travel U17 premier team who are the 2010 & 2013 Florida State Cup Champions, 2011 Florida State Premier League Champions, and USYSA R3PL fall 2013 Champions. In 2013 Kaitzy and her Sunrise team are the Jefferson Cup U16 Showcase Premier Champions and the Weston Cup International U18 Champions.

In the 2011/12 season the Sunrise U15 team played in the US Youth Soccer National League. Kaitzy was named "U15 Player To Watch" in the National League by US Club Soccer in 2012.

Kaitzy's team leadership as team captain has helped the Sunrise team secure one of the highest winning percentages in the Southeastern USA at the premier level. The Sunrise Sting is ranked #1 in the state of Florida for U17 in 2013.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School: Kaitzy plays on the varsity soccer team as a senior. In her sophomore year she she netted 7 goals and 1 assist on 19 shots. She helped the team stay undefeated in the state of Florida and in pursuit of their second Florida State 5A Championship title in 2012. Kaitzy has been named team captain of the varsity soccer  team for her senior year for 2013/14 where the Raiders won their 3rd championship in 4 years.

• Selected All-County Athlete and named to Class 5A-4A First Team for girls soccer by Sun Sentinel & Orange Bowl Committee (2014)
• Broward County All Star Team in the Army & Fort Lauderdale Strikers Futbol club match against Dade County All Stars (2014)
• “Team Player of the Week” Miami Herald (Broward County Edition, Feb. 12, 2012)
• “Athlete of the Week” – St. Thomas Aquinas H.S. Florida State Championship Game (Feb. 2012) 
• Timberwolf Classic - Selected "Most Valuable Player" (MVP) by apposing coaches in tournament where the Raiders would win all 3 games (Dec. 2012)

Kaitlin fighting for the ball against a Farmington United (NY-E) player in a US Youth Soccer National League game (Atlanta Cup). The game ended in a 0 - 0 tie.


Amanda Vocelka (ODP '96 GA) of the Georgia State Cup Champion's GSA Phoenix Red and her team mates pressure Kaitzy during an intense US Youth Soccer Region III Premier League game in April. Sunrise tied GSA 1 -1 to retain their first place league position.


Kaitzy controls the central zone in a Southern Regional Championship  game against CSA Charlotte Predators (NC).
